this is not a bug in PEiD, its a plugin you use.. that want to locate delphi bpl's
... maybe its a ResourceViewer... or something similar... remove one by one of plugins and you will be able to pin it down... when you find it, come back and tell wich one.. i'll forward you to a better solution.

thank you for bug-reporting.

Prob one of my old plugins, I did used to have the RTL files for download on my site, but forgot to put them back in the site redesign ..
_Pusher_ you can find the files in your Windows\system32 dir if you want to upload there is 2 or 3 files with xxx70.bpl that you need ..

Here is vcl70.bpl as well...i had got these two from BoB's pages back then,
simply extract them into peid.exe's directory:

Thanks for all your help.

I've did what _pusher_ said and remove one by one of my plugins of my PEiD v0.93-Signatures-476 & PEiD v0.94-Signatures-601

and as I've said the error msg shows five times and by removing one by one I figure out these five files.

Quote:

FC.dll 19 KB 16/11/2004
Morphine.dll 31 KB 12/12/2004
ResView.dll 24 KB 11/12/2004
SecTool.dll 22 KB 08/06/2005
YPP.dll 48 KB 16/11/2004

5 file(s)
Total filesize 140 KB
156276 kilobytes free

so by removing these five files I do not need to add rtl70.bpl or vcl70.bpl

The second solution is by adding the below two files:

Quote:
rtl70.bpl 766 KB 23/04/2004
vcl70.bpl 1350 KB 20/08/2002

the problem solved and there is any error msg pop-up.

Hope I made my self clear.

Thanks for all.

I did recompile all the plugins about 3 years ago, those must be very very old versions Smile
